I have the Company B Armoured Train but would like to try my hand at scratchbuilding a 28mm armoured train using some Teamsterz and 'Classic Train' set engines etc. I have some plastic wheels bought on ebay but they are only about 12mm dia. Ideally I am looking for spoked wheels about 20mm or 25mm dia in either plastic or white metal. The track I am using is the 'S' gauge that Company B and Brigade have. Any help would be appreciated.

i have scratchbuilt some wheels for a train i was planning
i think they may be ideal for s gauge track
i will try to find them

I certainly recommend that S Scale is the best choice for 28mm miniatures, mostly because its the closest to the typical 1" = 5' scale that we tend to use.

I'm not familiar with the Company B stuff, so I'm not sure how compatible that is with Model Railroad S Scale equipment.

I am searching quality wheels but don't know where to buy the latest design wheels? I want to avail the access source as soon as possible.

Proper model railway locomotive wheels come in all sorts of different sizes and styles but can be expensive. However if you want something that rolls well they are your best bet. In the US Walthers seems to carry everything, in the UK there seems to be a large number of smaller outfits. Your best bet for finding a retailer is probably to buy a model railway magazine and look at the adverts.
Dapol have some of the old Airfix and Kitmaster moulds of various locomotives and wagons and the kits include moulded plastic wheels and I think proper model railway wheels for the wagon kits. They are OO scale which means they might be a bit small and as the moulds are old there is a lot of flash but they are cheap and some of the larger locomotive driving wheels might be just what you need.
Minicraft have a kit if a steam locomotive and carriages that is worth a look, I think there is another thread here about one.
Regauging plastic wheel sets from OO or HO to S should be easy enough as you can sleeve the axle with some plastic tubing.
Belfast Caboose used to import American model railway items including some S gauge stuff so I have had a chance to look at it at the local shows but the rolling stock was eye wateringly expensive. The track seems reasonably priced though. When he retired some English outfit took over as distributor.

I bought a joblot on Ebay of Hornby metal wheels - which is fine but most were driver wheels -They had an extra hole near the centre - but I have found that you can get away with a lot unless you are adding flatcars - in most armoured Trains the wheels are largely hidden and protected behind plates.

Either try to hunt some on ebay or ask company B if they sell You some spares.
