Just Finished a Panzer four using a diecast toy which happens to be 1/56 scale. Replaced the gun and tracks with after market model versions and opened the turret for a Warlord commander.
Its 12 SS Div.
I put an air recognition flag on after, for a splash of colour, but omitted it from these photos.
I am going to sell this at a show hopefully, which I am doing many off now with Offensive. What do people think a fair price point for a finished model like this?
Interested to know.

Looks great. Got a couple of them knocking about myself. Where did you get the after market tracks and guns from?

The tracks are Fruil and the gun is from Gaso Line in Paris. They have a great shop on line.
The tracks are individual pieces whihc must be drilled and pinned. Not for the faint hearted!
Thanks

that is fantastic :D

Thanks
Now bearing in mind the Fruil tracks cost about £18 and take a day to do, and the alumium gun about £5, what would you expect to pay for this finished item ???
Be good to know. My clients can pay £100+ for such an item.
I have the kit to do another one, and they are for sale. Should post them in the Bazaar.

Nice work Bruce on the PZ IV. Please use the Bazaar as I'm sure you will get many interested parties.

Just out of curiousity.
Who makes a 1/56 diecast Pan Iv?
And how does a 1/48 gun from Gasoline work with a 1/56 tank, it should look huge?

Don't know the name of the manufacturer, I found out about them on the WSS website:

This guy has them:

I've done a little conversion work on mine. I used MG42s chopped from some spare figures to replace the plastic guns. Much as I love BWBruce's Panzer, it's not economical to replace the rubber tracks. I plan to buy a couple more, just have to do some cracking paint jobs to distract from the tracks!

Those dimensions are closer to 1/48(almost the same as my Tamiya) than 1/56 so that explains that.
Thanks
