Title: Period Cars And Trucks Thread
Post by: superflytnt on October 09, 2012, 02:29:05 PM
As it's hard to find them, I'm going to use this thread as a repository for sources for 1:43 scale vehicles.

Here's my first entry:

Prestige Hobbies (CA, USA)
1:43/50/64 Scale, nice selection, a bit expensive.

Feel free to add!!

Matchbox- Models of Yesteryear range.

Ebay is probably the best source for these, although they do turn up quite frequently in second hand shops and markets.
Be warned: Some items in the range can be very pricey, but your average Model-T Ford types are easily and cheaply acquired.
Also, if you cannot see the item in person, stick to the cars, as the range seems to be designed to fit the box rather than as a scale.

I'll just refer to the previous threads where I've posted. If I keep cross-linking them all to each other, maybe the knowledge will eventually condense to something useful. :)
