Title: Who makes the best 28mm Crusader Knights on foot?
Post by: ErikB on October 29, 2012, 05:07:34 PM
I am very, very impressed with the new Fireforge minis on horseback and am looking for similar minis on foot.  Teutons, Hostpitaller, and/or Templar are all fine with me.

I like some of the GW Bretonians but I do not like the extra stuff on the basinet helmets.  I am looking for strictly historical.

Anyone have any suggestions (other than waiting for Fireforge to make guys on foot)?

Thanks a bunch.

Gripping Beast, Curteys Miniatures or Crusader Miniatures, all very nice figures.

Fireforge will shortly be bringing out foot knights as well as Serjeants.
They look quite good.

I'd second that, especially if you aren't in a rush, they should be out within a couple months. (and Fireforge have so far been reliable with their etas)

Not really in a rush, just happy and excited (made a cool, and pricey, costume as a 1200s knight for myself and my 6 month old son, so they are on my mind).

Any links to previews from Fireforge?

Aw, there are TONS of images!  I should have looked, first!

This is going to be cool.

Anyone played Deus Vult?  How does it look?
