So for no known reason, I am making an Ogryn type figure from an Mage knight iron Giant. I have him with a minigun and backpack. I am sculpting an eye targeting optical thing but what else should he have? Right now he is bald would he have a helmet or not (Not really into 40K so I don't know much ) Any suggestion would be helpful.

If it's for 40k then that sounds about right.

Generally they have been bare-headed, with shaved/bald heads. I seem to recall the original Rogue Trader figure had something of a flat-top haircut, though.

Hrothyogg does have some lank hair, but yes, they're generally bald or with a very short haircut.
Point being you can probably get away with whatever you want short of giving him an afro (then again... lol) .

Well it's futuristic FANTASY, so you can do anything you want.
If you want to use him in games, the only limitations are it must be:
-On a 40mm round base
-Have a 'Ripper Gun' or a suitable equivalent (A big flipping gun)
-Must be an Ogre Sized Character
-
Not really gaming with him, just something to do
1st removed from base, then cut off back pack and shoulders with dwarf riders
2nd re positioned arms , added eye optic, used a bottle cap for the ammo backpack and parts of and old model and toy for mini-gun.
3rd bulked out shoulder with wood spools and putty.
next step sculpting in some detail

Still trying to learn to sculpt.
Bit more putty laid down working on the boots and pants shirt and arm muscles
