Post by: aggro84 on November 30, 2012, 07:57:58 PM
My blogmate posted some of these up on the old bloggy thingy.

I thought they were pretty cool and useful for scratch builders.

Reminiscent of the Buster Keaton film One Week
If you haven't seen it - find a copy

These are excellent!

Saves me having to hand draw a load of plans for games like I have done in the past!

Hi aggro84

Nice find and thanks for posting the linky.

It reminded me of the "Comstock" plan book for late 1890's details I have in the office - http://www.amazon.co.uk/Victorian-Domestic-Architectural-Plans-Details/dp/0486254429 (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Victorian-Domestic-Architectural-Plans-Details/dp/0486254429)

... and then reading Smokezombie's comments also reminded me of the competition run for Letchworth Garden City back in the early 1900s, and I managed to find this -

on this blog http://vl203.wordpress.com/2011/02/18/the-150-cottage/ (http://vl203.wordpress.com/2011/02/18/the-150-cottage/)

Even more architecture to build.

The sure are,

As an aside and not wishing to de-rail the thread, I actually had an elderly relative who lived in a very rural location with a "thunder box" in the garden - I was scared to death of following through the hole in the plank when I was little  :o.
