Is there anyplace one can find a list of all the Kroot figures made? Like other folks, I think they'd be quite useful for a conversion project, but mine would have to cover a number of individual parrot-people personalities, so I'm trying see what sort of variety of design is possible (besides just kitbashing carnivores). Tried some google searches, but my google-fu hasn't panned out this time.
I know a full list would be daunting for any other GW race, but they've only been around for a decade and haven't had too many figures made in that time. I only really need the infantry anyway.
What I know if is the various Carnivore squads, the Games Day Shaper, and the regular Shaper. Forgeworld supposedly had some other stuff, but all I see now is a couple of beasties and cavalry units?
Any help would be dandy. Thanks!

Okay, there is only one Kroot figure I haven't owned and it's because I reject it's existence :)
Plastic Kroot sprue
Metal Shaper, only one figure but two gun arm options, Kroot rifle or pulse rifle.
Kroot Hounds (4 Variants)
Krootox. One base figure but two upper torso's for the gunner on it's back.
Anghkor Prok, Master Shaper, Games Day figure.
Forge World Great Knarloc, two variants.
Forge World Baggage Great Knarloc.
Forge World Bolt Thrower Great Knarloc.
Forge World Knarloc Cavalry, 3 variants.
Forge World Event figure, Kroot Bird.
I can't think of anything else. Forge World have never done any 'standard' Kroot figures and the Kroot Bird was done as a bit of a joke event figure. It's not very well sculpted but the fanboyz out there embraced it for some weird reason and I've seen it go for silly money on ebay etc. I rejected it for being rubbish. The Great Knarlocs and Knarloc cavalry come with a couple of resin arms for Kroot figures, the Knarlocs have arms holding spears and the Cavalry have carbine versions of the Kroot rifle. This adds a bit of variety to the base plastic figures and my Parrotman forces have units with spears etc.

And don't forget the Inquisitor Kroot Mercenary.

Good point, I hadn't thought about other scales. There was a conversion set for that Inquisitor figure too, gave more options and actually allowed you to make a Kroot warrior with Kroot rifle :)
There is also an epic scale (6mm) set of Kroot for the Tau army from Forge World.

Trust Dewbakuk to know his kroot!
Do you not have any pictures of your parrotmen force?

There was a concept model done pre-release too, some of which I've seen in the hands of collectors though its nothing very special compared to the released ones.

Then of course there are the conversion possibilities...
Such as my:-

Mixing Kroot figure, Kroot Hound and Chaos riding beasty.
Or the official set they did via mail order that used Cold Ones and Kroot Ox heads...

Ah the Kroot. Some of my all time favourite GW products!

Those are stunning Mr Ironmammoth. I see they're the same pattern I used in the Kroot Mercs White Dwarf army list, which was the first article I wrote for the mag, in 2001 8)
-
This site has a rather clever (I think) conversion: pygmy Kroot (http://www.warpstonepile.com/2009/10/kroot-hounds.html). Skink bodies, genestealer arms, and Kroot heads. They're alternate Kroot hounds!
I think there might be some mileage is a similar idea using the Cold ones and some green stuff to make alternate Krootox.

Andy,
GW sold a kit with Cold One Sprues and Krootox heads for a while via their website.
As for the Chaos deamonette riding beast conversion, not sure where I got the idea for those, I wanted to make the cavalry a little lighter and more agile looking; after-all they were supposed to be evolved from birds. I thought I developed it myself, but it was so long ago something may have influenced me...

Those pygmy Kroot are gorgeous!

The concept kroot is pretty crude, but was apparently produced in relatively high numbers for playtesting. Missing off the lists is the unreleased shape only shown in the 5th edition rulebook

That was a personal project by the sculptor, be great if it saw release though :)

Hope they don't - I've got an unreleased copy of it! ;-)
