A couple of months ago, Bruno Galice ran a succesful campaign on Indiegogo to produce some pirate goblins, which supposedly were shipped about a month ago.
Has anybody received anything yet ? On the Indiegogo page, there's no more news, also some other disgruntled backers. Bruno Galice was als registered on LAF, but hasn't been active for a couple of months. He's still alive though (or someone else is using his facebook account), just uncommunicative.

Same here. I'm assuming he found out that things don't always run as smoothly as you plan and that this is just a temporary setback, with figures getting there eventually.
-
No sign of them here either...He has also dropped off of the BLOOD forum...which he started! I hope he is doing OK and will give us an update soon. They are amazing looking figures and I look forward to painting them.
Cheers,
Blue

That.

Just after a bit of consensus (before I start emailing), but has anybody in the UK received their Goblins yet?

According to the feedback on the project, they're at least some UK residents who have received them about 10 days ago (http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/pirate-goblins-box-set?c=comments).
I suggest that you try contacting the project responsible
For those who still haven’t received anything as of today then there is probably a problem with your postal address, please contact me at bg@bruno-galice.info
-
I emailed him on April 16 to make sure he had the right address for me - which he did not, a line was missing. The package he had mailed me had bounced back (he emailed me a picture). He said he was resending my package that day with the correct address. So far it has not arrived, but it has only been a week and I am in Canada.
Hopefully that helps?

Based on what I know, lots are posted directly, and almost one at a time, by Bruno. I've no idea if it's done so due to production delay or if he's plain lazy, but I received mine (in france) a couple of weeks ago, and I've friends (still in France) that didn't yet. The only conclusion, as far as I'm concerned, is the I won't go into such project again, being strongly disappointed by the total lack of professionnalism here.

I got mine a week ago or so - lack of contact was the main annoyance. They are very nice and he is doing more Dwarves soon.....I did post pics on my blog but forgot to mention it to anyone :-[

Indeed it was, but I'll probably still be willing to back dwarf pirates if they look good enough - I'm kinda stupid that way.
-
Mine arrived late last week...I know that Bruno has had some health problems and this shipping thing has turned into a nightmare for him. I'm not trying to make excuses for him but in my experience he is a very stand up guy and will try to make it right. Contact him directly and work through it with him.
Good luck! the figure are great!
Cheers,

Cheers everyone - I've sent him an email (with my address), I see what's what when he replies :)

After seeing some of the preview sculpts I have to agree....excellent!

I would say give it time. As a small business owner I know what it can be like to deal with lots of shipping and still maintain a full time job. If he got an email from everyone who posted on just this thread it could take him days to sort that out alone. Now I am not excusing him from poor choices just that it is easy to think of a small guy as another "Megamart"...

Where are these preview sculpts of which you speak??

Thought I'd read it somewhere on here and I was right...Kev adams was stabbed about a month ago which would perhaps explain some delay in getting your figures...so for all those who threw stones go and pick them up an apologise :-X
-
Yes but AFAIK Kev Adams had nothing to do with these beyond the initial sculpts. I think it needs to be stated clearly that the delays are nothing to do with him or the assault.
-
Aaah...better pick up my own stone then..after that I'll get my hat too
-
I've pretty much given up on receiving these :-[, but there looks to be a slight hope - Bruno has 'deigned' to answer someone (while ignoring everyone else, including me >:() who is also compiling a list of those still waiting.
If you still haven't got yours, it might be worth adding your name here (http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/pirate-goblins-box-set/x/650743?c=comments)

I am in the same boat. I really don't get the guy. I mean, even if he were to respond and say, 'sorry I am not sending any more goblins as I have sent them a few times, etc' that would be better than this. I have even sent him multiple messages offering to pay for tracked shipping for a new shipment, but to no avail.
I have never heard of lots of problems with the French postal system... could it be that? There's no way that the postal system in the home country of at least 16/141 backers would lose that many packages - especially considering pretty much all of those backers are in UK/Canada/USA, which all have a very reliable postal system.
-
I really hate to see this going sideways as they are wonderful figures...I hope it
Works out for everyone involved.
Cheers,
Blue

Yes, I agree (although I'd be fuming) - the lack of communication is unforgivable :? (& I never had any problems ordering/buying stuff from France)
-
Mistunderstood and post removed because I am a silly git!
-
Ah, fair enough - edited my post too :)
-
Well, it has been over a month since the last vague promise of a new shipment for the at least 18 backers still waiting, and nothing. Bruno has not replied to any of my inquiries in over two months. In that time, he has still been active on facebook and has been logging in regularly on the oldhammer forum (but not posting).
Perhaps he is hiding his head in shame, as he should. This is the most half-assed, unprofessional conduct I have seen since Maelstrom games went belly-up. Shame on you, Bruno. Do you realize you were given likely close to $500 by those backers? What a crook.
I am waiting on you to prove me wrong.
-
Sorry to drag this back up but I've been trying to locate the Indiegogo page from this campaign and it seems to have been removed! Does that mean everyone received their items?!!
-
I got mine, just about to post up pics of the finished models oddly! They did take a long time to come though.
Here's a quick shot:

I have not received mine, however it seems treps has 'returned' to the Oldhammer forum. I suggest making an account there and sending him a PM. His handle is treps.

-
Sorry to hear that Timbor! Have you tried contacting him or Indiegogo?
-
Many folks contacted indiegogo to complain and nothing came of it. Bruno ignored all communications for several months, but he appears to be active on the oldhammer forum again, and he replied to me saying he would send out the stuff I had paid for. I am crossing my fingers but not holding my breath as of yet ::)
-
So, just an update... after contacting Bruno, and him replying with fresh promises of 'the minis will be in the mail tomorrow' and 'sorry I got busy but I will mail it and send you a tracking number tomorrow'...
Still nothing, its been two weeks.
-
Arrrr it looks like Bruno be a bit of a pirate himself! :o
