A friend alerted me to these great Pulp style rocket sippy-cups that are currently on clearance at Target stores. Below is a picture shown with 28mm figures. They will make either great Pulp style rocket ships, or regular sci-fi drop-pods.

I had time to paint one up over the weekend, and this is the result:

Good find! You did a great job transforming it. :-*

Looks great. You got a very pulpish look with the colour scheme.

Looks like I'm headed to Target tomorrow.

I'll have to check these out.

Nice find, and great paint job.

Great find and very nice paint job on it. Too bad we don't have Target stores over here. Btw, who makes the bulldog?

Pity we don't have Target stores (yet) up here in Soviet Canuckistan. Not that I needed a pulp rocketship... but since when has mere need governed a gamer's habits?
CPalmer, please hit those figures of yours with a matte spray varnish, they'll look even better!

Thanks for all the kind remarks!
Yes, a lot of my earlier figures were coated with a spray that turned out more semi-gloss than matte. Eventually I will need to go back and give them all a hit with Dullcote.
