Title: 300 revisited last stand at Thermopylae
Post by: chaplain severus on March 31, 2008, 06:33:51 PM
Always been interested in the Persian Wars, and I figured i would blend my profession with my hobby.

I started the blog a month before my after-school program took shape 12 kids are currently researching the battle, synthesizing the information, and creating their own  presentations of what occurred.  Phase two is a movie or powerpoint along with a recreation of the important events of the battle (that's where the lead comes in)  Take a look, feel free to comment or suggest things.

Man, I wish we'd had teachers like you. This sounds like an excellent project.

Thanks all for the comments.

playtested the scenario for the fight over Leonidas' body. Nothing great but the kids should enjoy it.
