First time I heard of this or Outlaw Games today. It's a Weird Wild West type of thing, apparently -- Wereindians, mechanical gunslingers, gatling pistols, the works:

I could see 'em going hand-in-hand (so to speak) with some Malifaux or (if they are quite big) Dystopian Legions stuff. No idea if they are going to be scaled the same as either of those tho.

Can't say I like the designs of these. Actually I like the sketches of the mounts but my god the guns look like nerf guns!

I agree, it kind of seems like they are trying to hard
-
I like the critters and the werewolf, others are a bit too space ranger in style
-
Hmmm... I don't know what to think. Looks like they are trying to exploit the Wild West side of Malifaux. I can't quite understand the need for wereindians - it seems like a stupid (and insulting) concept to me.
The figures are a bit too sci-fi for my taste but the building looks nice.

Reminds me a bit of the old 80s cartoon. Galaxy Rangers. :)

Or Bravestarr!

Maybe they think it has 'Twilight' crossover potential - the werewolf in that was a Native American I think, so all Native Americans are were-creatures?
-
And the idea of skinchangers is very much a large part of the mythology of many tribes, especially in the Southwestern US area, so it isn't really "werewolf indians" as much as it is a nod to an existing mythos, though they were usually the trickster beasts, like ravens and coyotes.
-
Oh, gosh, awful aren't they? ;) ::)
Remember Wells and death to Steampunk. lol
-
There are many decent figs in the range. It may well yet work out

Yes, I do think that if some take it as an insult then it's at least an inadvertent one.
The NERF gun look is, OTOH, probably entirely intentional, given how many steampunk gun "kitbash" projects start out as NERF guns 8)

Really, am I the only one who has the hardest time with the neon sign?

Actually that I thought was a nice touch. If we are going to have super duper nerf guns for the love of it at least have some non weapon/combat technology out there as well. To me it evoked kind of a noir feeling for some reason and I must say that it strangely works. Mind you on a whole this still looks terrible.

Have to agree. :?

I don't mind them, the mounts look great! The figures, well we shall see? Some look pretty good :)

No fear, being the odd man out holds no terrors for me. :D
Sorry, but the Union Iron Horse is right out as far as I'm concerned, though the actual model, painted up, may sway me as so oft happened in the past.
The guns I accept if I take anything, but that revolver makes NO sense to me. Break in front of the cylinder? :o
Doug
Edit: Never mind about the pistol. I'll call it a faux cylinder pepperbox that looks plain stupid instead of being plain stupid.

I like the look of the werewolf and will buy one for my weird west setting.
I also like the sound of the planned were-Bison. :)

Micro Art Studio looks to be doing the official buildings for this game:

No real sign of "KickStarter fatigue" with WWX. Some people seem to like it.

Outlaw Game's put up stats for at least some of the minis on their site. Pretty nice move, that. An example here:

As a bit of miser, I have to wonder about their single trooper pricing model. But I suppose they are all named personalities and it's the norm that you pay through the nose for them, compared to regular troopers.

I understand the concept of that but there are mooks in any almost game I've played!
Redshirts in word...
Gracias,
Glenn

I do believe WWX does have mooks but I think they are only sold in unit/posse/whatever packs, not individually.
-
Some of those figures look great, the price will stop me from ever considering getting 'into' the game. I'll consider picking up one or two figures though depending on how tall they end up being in real life.
-
Not at all a fan of these. One or two would have have potential if they weren't 35mm scale - they would tower over my 28mm stuff and even over many Malifaux figures. The vehicles don't do it for me either. Price seems excessive too.
