A fire team of US army troops for the 2003 invasion of Iraq, early stages. Miniatures are 20mm "Elhiem Figures", same source from where I got my Iraqi army and Baath party miniatures. I already know a few minor things that need to be re-painted so I will wait with a painting guide until my next post.
Plan to use them for "Brink of Battle" and also hope that me and the guys at the club can get a multiplayer game of "The Battlefield" going soon as I really want to try that out.

Those are great looking, nice painting!

Thanks :)
Two recon soldiers, one with a M24 marksman rifle, both with body armor with groin protection.
I'm enjoying painting these troops more than I thought and will probably order more in the near future.
I also went back and fixed the fire team, the US flag is now facing west, camo stripes are not as dark and the tactical symbol is painted in earth colors.

Not my preferred scale either, I find it to be a bastard scale, but since my buddy Thomas already built a ton of terrain for it I figured the least I could do was to make a small investment in miniatures. As it turned out the minis from Elhiem Figures were very affordable so I'm not complaining.
Painting wise you have to make a compromise between the painting styles adapted for 15mm and 28mm.

Those are looking great! Look forward to seeing them in an AAR.
