Title: Fire and Fury basing
Post by: emosbur on February 02, 2013, 04:09:42 PM
Hi all

I recently bought Age of Eagles, the napoleonics adaption of Fire and Fury. But as I donīt own Fire and Fury, I would know how the oficial basing system is (for Fire and Fury, I mean).

Many thanks.

Emilio.

I beleive the traditional stand is 1 1/4 in x 1 in.  For Age of Eagles I believe it is flipped.  Hope that helps.

I don't know - I have AoE and am considering rebasing my armies to their basing standards but I don't know the BOFF basing.

Try asking at the Fire and Fury phorum - overall it is one of the best rules based website I know: http://www.fireandfury.com/phorum5/index.php

According to rulebook the sizes are:

Infantry/ dismounted cavalry: 1" by 3/4" to 7/8"
Cavalry: 1" by 1 1/8"
Artillery: 1" by 1.5"
Horseholder: 1.5" by 1 1/8"
Limbers 1" by 1.75"
Divisionleader 1" by 1 1/8"
Corpsleader 1.5" by 1.5"

We use 1" by 1" for Inf/ cav/ divisionleaders for convenience sake as base depth is not really important...

Thanks Grey mouse for that I didn't have the rule book in front of me at the time, and was about to repost.
