Don't!
Join the club instead! lol
I give you here my recipe:
Black undercoat
Drybrush dark brown
Drybrush lighter brown
Drybrush russian uniform brown (golden brownish)
Paint skin, helmets, guns, webbings and bags in respective basic colours
Wash to death with sepia wash
Touch up on the different colours and try to (I tend to get carried away here... which goes against the speed painting point)
Varnish
Base
Done!
Yeah baby! lol

Yeah indeed! And how long did it take for this all squad?

Thanks for the recipe! I really want to start getting into WWII, but in all honesty....that is a killer speed paint of a squad. They are a grungy, dirty and rough squad of russkies.
Great stuff,
Damien

5 to 6 hours maybe. I did more than necessary for tabletop standard I think. And was chatting with a friend while painting = less efficient. lol

Wow! Just what I needed, built yesterday a squad and been contemplating if I dare to splash any paint on them... I might now, following your guide but prolly will end up NOT showing the results :D
What do you think, could it work with jumping over the black basecoat and starting with the dark brown directly?
-
Very impressive - my own speed being somewhat considerably slower than yours!
-
Wow snappy work there!

I just went to your blog and whoa! Talk about a psychedelic background, I felt like I was having an acid flashback lol Fantastic blog btw, the Røde Orm mini is incredible and I really liked reading the 'For a Few Galactic Credits More!' game.

Noticed in your blog that you are missing an ATR. If you are ok with a plastic one, I can send you a Warlord Games one.

Amazing!!!Good work!!!!

Wow very nice. And all done with speed painting. I think I should rethink my painting methods
