Title: Cold War Commander Project Log - Soviet Motor Rifle Company
Post by: Mr.Marx on February 03, 2013, 02:05:43 AM
Hey LAF,

I friend of mine convinced me that I needed to do a force for Cold War Commander in 12mm/1:144, so to keep my momentum up on the and see it though to the end I thought Id do it as a sort of 'project log'.

Some T-10m Heavy Tanks

Never done one before, and I'm off ill from work at the moment with the usual long-term illness, so I have a bit of time on my hands - feels like the right time to give one a go.

So, without further adeiu, here you go;

Hey there,

Great to see your models, I like the way Soviet AFVs look en masse. Those asian plastic models sure looks good. Here's a blog about 1/144 models if you wanna take a look.

My first real miniature wargaming project were two 10mm Blitzkrieg Commander U.S. and German WWII armies, I learned a lot from the experience. After it got finally finished I dabbled in plans to assemble a Cold War scenario for CWC with Soviet and U.S. armies, however it never lead to anything and even my BKC armies still sit in the attic unplayed.

Here's my project btw ;)

Thanks for the web link - some really interesting stuff on there. Makes me want to do a 1946 WwII Project.

Your Blitzkrieg Commander Stuff looks great. Shame to think its never seen the light of the gaming table. I've been trying to drum up some enthusiasm amongst my most common opponents, but I've not found any takers.
