Check this out - it's a squid, but tell me that's not Lovecraftian looking!

Definitely Lovecraftian looking to me. There are a lot of strange looking creatures in nature.

Here is an article I saw today about an alien-like creature: just a lamprey, but it looks like a minion to me... :)
