My greatest inspiration ! :-*

Thanks Stuart that's really handy advice and a source of inspiration
I plan to make it to Salute and add to what I already have
Wanted to ask about flags and in the unit above I notice you have quite a few
How many would you suggest say in a 24 man pike block?
Do you have any advice where one might find flags (I have those sold by North star) or can you suggest a site where these are illustrated?
many thanks

Glad you like it and it sounds like you might get some use out of it too !
For a unit of 24 i'd say between 2 and 4 flags, there's 28 in the pike square above and they have 4 flags.
There are a few flags illustrated on the flags and banners page of the painting guide. 3 of the 4 in the image above feature on there. I make my own so i'm not really sure who are the better stockists though in saying that I know that Progloria miniatures have a small range as well as pete at italianwarsflags.blogspot.com any that he doesnt have he'd be glad to make up for you i would imagine.
Hope that helps
all the best

Hi Stuart,
I'm new here and found your post. Thanks very much for posting this it will help me greatly when I start my Foundry Landsknechts.
At the moment I'm finishing off my Burgundian army and will paint up a couple of Landsknecht pike units to add for later battles.
Cheers,
Thomas
