Weird Post-World War 2 - a nasty little war caused by a cross of timelines, one including a recently-concluded WW2, the other a VSF reality which invents timeline rifts and caches into large unused arms dumps and military surplus, creating a new pocket war in two different central Europes, one in each reality. An excuse to mix and match wildly, really. The thread begins well into the war, with some convergence of technologies taking place.
First model, something from the VSF realm - a Vanship design (yes, I have to admit a soft spot for Last Exile) - the Dotch.
I recently purchased a Dotch Yaga, but had planned to use it as is; this went awry when I realised this AT-43 beastie could be dismantled. Oh yes.... :D
The Dotch is this flier; the Yaga should follow.

Glad to see that Dotch Yaga put into good use! ;) It was never one of my favourite models, but I must confess I didn't knew it had so much potential for a conversion!
Can't wait to see the Yaga :-*

That looks great!

Good idea, but it seems a bit lopsided with the bin on one side like that.
It is very nice painting and converting.
And I agree, the Last Exile is fantastic.
-
Thanks guys.
Amalric, I tend to agree - but (1) the bin is an integral part of the moulded base of the main fuselage, not easy to get rid of and (2) I have a tendency to prefer lop-sided asymmetric models!
On the the Yaga....

No worries.
I look forward to what you do with the Yaga.

And here's the YAGA:
