for all my 2000AD Games.I've made 3 Sections so far, around 1/4 of the final Gameboard ::)
I will focus on an Indoor Location for now, inspired by the newest Dredd Movie.A "Streets of Megacity" Table would be much too ambitious for my Skills and Patience ::)
All Parts are made from Hirst Arts Sci-fi Molds, cast in cheap Plaster (Walls/Floor Tiles) or expensive Dental Stone (all the Pipes and some of the smaller Parts). This is what i have so far...

the Gameboard can also be used for my other Sci-fi Stuff 8)

Thats lovely.
Lots more please!

That's fine looking, made me wonder if you've got one of those Judge Minty figures lined up.

Ill bet that everyone with an interest in this thread also files Kev White sculpted MC1 Judge miniatures under "must have" :) I can wait to see them in hand.
I am inexperienced with airbrushes but seeing this makes me want to break out my cheapo compressor and have a bash with some terrain that I have waiting to go. Inspirational.
-
Very nice. Love the wall scrawlings.
-
Nice work!
-
Love the Dark Judges! Fantastic paint job!
-
I really like the look of this, it's got me thinking about my Aliens project! There looks to be rather a lot of Hirst molds there, about 5 different packs? You've done a great job.
-
Great looking MC1 terrain. The graffiti and posters really sets the scene. Hirst Arts moulds are looking very tempting.
-
thanks again Guys :)
As for Judge Minty:Probably the most beautiful Judge Miniature ever made, who would want to miss that? 8)
Back to the Streets of MC1,holy Cow,painting takes much more Time than i expected, old Bruce was busy when he drybrushed all those Starship Corridors lol Anyway, bit more Weathering, more Graffiti, will paint the Cables/Computer Consoles next,i bought some Neon Colors, lets see how this works out ::)
Halfway through...

Lovely! :-* How big area you are going for?
-
Nice Dredd, where'd you get the idea from Dan? ::)
I'll send you that spare bagde I've press moulded with the next JD batch.
Loving the hurst stuff, but heavy to carry around I'm sure.
The Commander.
-
Nice Dredd, where'd you get the idea from Dan? ::)
erm yeah, the Karl Urban Dredd is inspired by Marks formidable Holocaust Judge Conversion, same Mini, different Head ::) ;)

That's the one with those naff yellow bits on his shins that I got you to change. ;)
I like the darness of your film one. Really gritty. That head works well, thought it might be out of scale a bit but all good. Now I need another one Sheesh! ;)
-
Oh dear Dan, looking awesome as ever! :-*
I really like the converted Dredd as well (and credit to the Commander for his original). Where's the main body from? :)
-
thanks :)
The Mini is the Reaper Intergalactic Marine with a Headswap and a bit of GS

That works surprisingly well for Ma Ma. The face even looks quite like Lena Heady.
Great idea :)
-
You go for it- this is some good stuff. That Dredd convertion is great!
-
Yup all works Daniel nice. :D
-
oooo... what did you use for the Judge head? my one has stalled on chins...
-
Sorry chris forgot to pm you this. It's the mongoose judge with his lawgiver outstretched I think. Quite a flat sculpt. Might be wrong.
-
Yep,Mark is right its this one :)

Very well casted. I casted some home made molds with plaster, I never obtained such sharp and bubble free castings :o
-
Looks fantastic. Did you use some sort of vibrator for the plaster? :o
