just finished some sets for myself, and thought that other folks may want them..so these are coming to the regular lineup at Company B.
I thought I'd ask if there was any interest in 20mm, since it's not really a problem to print these at other scales. That actually goes for any of our decals.
First some Stuart logos. Some real, some inspired by Disney nose art.

Tanks on TV: I've been wanting to make Oddball's sherman for a while, and now I can! I'm not sure whose model I'll use though, maybe JTFM.
Lulubelle is sort of a must have since we offer a Lee kit. And as for the other two...uh, I needed an excuse to paint our Lee kit pink. Now I have one. But where to find suitable crew?

My wife is gonna want a Pink Lee.
For crew members you could try Reapers Anime Heroines, Candy, Whitney and Sugar:

I think Hasslefree has some anime-themed characters as well? I mean anime-'themed' as in regular humans fitted like anime characters, rather than actual anime-style minis - very similar to the reaper figures Doomsdave linked.
-
Will you be doing decals for the other teams tanks? It would make it cheaper and easier than buying the official 1/32 kits.
-
Sure..Like these?

I also have the decals for the MKIVD, Lee, and Type 89 printing now (and some paper banners as well)
The other schools will all come out as well...

Arigato!
Ordered 2 packs for maximum tankery. lol
-
Cancelled order. Shipping is one price through the store, and then they want more, because he hasn't bothered to fix his store... since February. Can't be bothered with people like that, honestly.
No tankery from Eureka!

I'll talk to Nic...as his guys down under do some of our sculpting.
How many packs do you want Grant?

All I wanted was two - the more I looked at them, they were looking like good crew, but not all would work, or some might need swaps, etc. ... I tried to order from the US shop, not Nic. ;)
That's awesome Brent!
Tank you!

Just realized I'll need two versions of each tank... the early in the show version and the finale!
Working on the rest of the tank animal icons this weekend...

Cheers Grant :) I foresee an obsession... :D
Oh,and I 'll be ordering some decals too :)
-
Rumors may circulate that I'm mastering the Anteater teams ChiNu... They are probably true :D
Warlord does Turtle Teams hetzer...
We need to get JTFM to make the Leopon teams Tiger (P)
Maus is easy enough to scratch build... Any takers if I made one?
-
Oh yeah okay(Maus) :D
-
I would buy one. I just have to decide if I want to do the whole project in 1/72 or 1/50. My heart says 1/50 but my wallet and gameboard say 1/72. Probably smaller scale if I want to recreate big battle from the show.
I wonder if Akky can be persuaded to build the floating school/aircraft carrier in 1/50.
-
Now that would be something to behold!!!
I am doing this project in two scales! 1:56 and 1:285. 1:285 would be easier to game in but of course the beauty of 1:56 would be a better display.
I have actually found suitable crew in schoolgirl style uniforms in 6mm.
-
Interesting Grant. I think I 'll do mine with non anime figures,Statuesque, methinks; an Hetzer,Churchill perhaps a couple more depends on time :) Might even write some rules up,perhaps a cross between Car Wars and Wings of War,that way the disparity in tanks won't be so bad ;)

Oooh. That's a good idea. Statuesque minis would be great.

Ah well do what I do and buy them from Fighting15's which is in the UK. Email Ian though as not everything is listed on his site. sales@fighting15sshop.co.uk

Brent got me sorted out! Thanks Brent! :D
-
I'm definitely going to need a couple sets of decals. I've got an M3 sitting around that would look great with the Rabbit Team markings on it....
-
So. If I did this project in 1/72; is that roughly 15mm figs or 20mm? And are there any good anime girls in those sizes. I've always played in God's own scale and not the smaller fiddly ones.
-
Sorry for the threadomancy but I just saw these tanks at the Revell website. They are Snap-Tite, but are exceptionally cheap, scaled 1/48 and may be a good way to build up some armor for your G&P project. Even though the 3 currently available aren't perfect matches to the teams' rides, I think with a suitable PJ (over the garish prepaints) I can make do for the price ($13.95US). Then I can do it in the scale I want with some delicious Statuesque Miniatures figs to crew them.
Currently a Sherman, Panzer, and Patton are the only offerings.

Pfffff hahaha what? Those are nuts!
I guess someone was trying to squeeze a few extra dollars out of some toy tank moulds that weren't doing anything else?
-
Probably. I think they look very 2000's GI Joe. They'd probably make good adversaries for a Tank Girl game.
-
So. If I did this project in 1/72; is that roughly 15mm figs or 20mm?
I think 1:72 is kind of 20mm and 1:76 is kind of 15mm, but I don't think they're exact fits, rather close enough as makes no odds.

15mm is more to scale with 1/87 and 1/100 (Peter Pig even advertises that on his site)

Yeah, I think you're right.
I think I'm getting my HO and my OO mixed up.
