I've finished my new Foundry Saxon army, so I've posted several shots of the whole collection on my website in the 1066 Gallery, on pages 5 & 6. Here's a taster for you ~

WOOOOW :o are those banners hand painted?
Really great paint job which give this army a generic feel :D

Banners are by Little Big Man ~ its a generic Saxon/Viking/Dark Ages sheet. £10.00 I think.

Very nice work, they look great all ranked up like that. :)

Good Lord, man! Do you ever sleep, or go to work?
I'm constantly impressed by the volume & quality of your output.
I probably painted 10 figures in the time it took for your wonderful Saxons :(

GlutMax: of course I sleep, but I don't work, as I retired six years ago. I have an understanding wife and a tame handyman for jobs around the house, so now I do what I want and not what some ****head asks me to do! On the whole its a pleasant way to pass the time, but I do wish I was a bit more disciplined and could paint for longer each day...

People say to me "what would you find to fill all the spare time if you retire?"
That's a no-brainer - the real question should be "will you have enough spare time to get it all painted?"
Glad to see you're spending your time wisely
Cheers,
Ian.

Ian,
There is the time when you find yourself wondering how you ever found the time to go to work too.

Very nice Yankeepedlar01! Very colorful too. It's always cool to see an army once it's all finished up.
