Nice work there Blue - managed to avoid you last year but looks like my luck ran out this time!  ;)

Cheers Thansants!  Great looking blood bowl team there...but elves and dwarves on the same team....is that legal?  lol

Cheers,

Blue

Nice use of depth of field to fade the background on the group shot, Blue. Hurrah for the eyes! My opinion is that if we're painting rivets on armor, or snaps on bags and stuff, we should detail the eyes on 28's, too. Of course, mine usually don't look as good as yours....!

Thanks Mike!  I had to fade the bannerman into the back a bit because the banner is...well...its crap ok...its crap!  But I ran out of time to make another before the deadline so I had to work with it.

RE: eyes...I agree that they are important to bringing figures "alive"....on smaller scale figures I think it could be too difficult to achieve a realistic painted eye but with these "heroic" 28mm I think they are mandatory...though much easier on MArauder dwarfs than these humans!

Cheers,

Blue

Two good entries, guys. The blood bowl miniatures are nice and striking as their teammates, well done! And those archers really look the business. I like the colour scheme you're using, it's very lively yet not to flashy for these miniatures. That sure will be a nice unit all together!

Who knows? Anything might happen!  ;D

I love your Blood Bowl models Thantsants. These look great in painting, colour scheme and overall style (I love your style). I think the final voting score does not reflect the difference in quality between these entries at all. That said, I still had to vote for Blue's crisp painting and photography on these lovely Bretonnians. I'm sure you can imagine 8)

Cheers Pil - I must say it was a pleasure being beaten by those sharp looking Brets  :D

If that doesn't sound too masochistic...
