Hi Guys, just finished these chaps for Muskets & Tomahawks. Figures are Rangers from Galloping Major painted as 40th Light Infantry. The woman nursing her wounded son is from Redoubt Miniatures. A picture from the Osprey books show the American raised 40th lights wearing ranger uniforms and no shoulder flash so these figures work well. Pictures are a bit on the small side but not much i can do :(

Great looking figures! I've thought of the same thing, but I've resisted so far. I did paint one of my rangers with a blue coat to represent the colonials that would occasionally accompany the rangers.
If no Galloping Major Brits appear soon, I might follow your leads as they look great. :)

I'd better push on with those hat men and light bobs :D
