This is a really tough call...both entries are most excellent.

A hard one to pick,nice work :)
-
The eyes are stunning, but the MacPap banner did it for me!

The vote differential in no way reflects the quality of these entries. Pil, I can't say I've ever seen more atmospherically evil looking mummies! But the Moroccans and Spanish have so much character and detail going on...wow!

Blinking marvellous. Two fabulous entries. Well done gentlemen :)
-
Both very nice entries indeed, but I admit a prejudice for the SCW period especially ones done as well as these so that's swaying me. :)

This is a hard one, great work to both entries.
-
What stands out for me on BOTH of these is the absolutely fantastic base work. I want to choose both!
-
Great work on both, hard to choose
-
This is another difficult choice. Well done to both of you.
-
Nice entries both of you, congratulations for giving me a hard time when casting my vote.

Wonderful entry Curt! Excellent paintwork and that's a lot of models, well done and a deserved win for you this round I think! 8)
Thanks all for the kind words on my mummies. I painted them to fit in with my existing undead so I made them a bit more dirty and mouldy. After I painted the five classic Citadel mummies I remembered I also had the Grenadier (the pointing one) and the Black Tree mummy (with the book) lying around so I painted them to match. The eyes were painted white, followed by orange ink. This gives them a very rich and piercing look.

Thanks for the kind words everyone and thank you Pil for being such a great running mate for this round. I really like your Mummies, particularly the tone/colour you achieved with their aged wrapping (you can almost smell the mould!) - excellent work.
