I must say, though, that taking a photo of 10 miniatures in one large photo and having them all come out clearly is a mastery of photography I am unable to even come close to. I marvel at such photos.

Thanks to everyone else as well...particularly you Dr. M...an honor to face off against such a brilliant team as yours!

This is a nail biter for sure...there was a short time last night where I was up by a few...but been hanging at about 12 point difference for awhile now...

Anyway...I should really put a plug in for these Boot Hill miniatures I painted up...I fell in love with them more than a year a go when Nick Posted up the greens of the boys for Tennessee and texicans...and this was the perfect excuse to pick some up and have a go. I wasn't as jazzed about the Mexican forces until I had them in hand....the sculpts are every bit as characterful and fun to paint as the Alamo defenders...in fact with their brighter color palette I think I enjoyed painting them even more! I honestly had very little interest in gaming this period...but now that I have had a go at a few of these I think I'll be adding quite a few more to my collection even if its just for the fun of painting them.

@Nick...please pass along my regards to your sculptor Matthew...he does a spectacular job.

Sadly my 28mm scale Alamo mock up wasn't quite done before I had to take the pictures... lol
