Couldn't resist this lovely miniature. Planning to be used as Bond (obviously) for some 7TV gaming.

Nice - I'm guessing you've got a thing for red-heads ;)

Where's the car from?

The car looks like it's one of the set of 3 (red, silver and black) that Poundland  in the UK had a bit back. My "not James Bond" drives one as well. :D

Post by: Brummie Thug on May 14, 2013, 12:22:46 PM
Thanks, Yes its one of the Poundland jag's. Fancied having a go at a redhead for a change I usually have blondes or brunettes.

Only thing Is she looks a bit more like Agent Scully but that wasn't my intention I was thinking the Agent from Quantum of Solace that goes to arrest Bond.

Bond is arrested by a Leprechaun?

Nice brushmanship btw.

Post by: Brummie Thug on June 22, 2013, 10:30:57 PM
Thanks guys, The Trucks are DeAgostini's Soviet car range 1/43 in 'scale' they popped up in Poundland but they have sold out really quick. I picked up some civilian cars and a ambulance last week and have been to 4 local ones and they where all sold out apart from these two red vans.

I'm not sure of the model as its all in Russian but it was a fire utility truck I removed the ladders from the top of the tarp and left the siren/spotlight on them. The Tarps can come off and there is two rows of seats in the back. They do have them on ebay as well. Usually under 1/43 Soviet or 1/43 Russian searchs.

The sniper is a Westwind SOTR Sniper with a Crooked Dice Minion head added.

I've done some googling and ebay search's and it is a PMG-20 fire Truck or GAZ 69.

Been working on the background for a Mercenary company.

'The Wild Ducks'

Officially the 13th Commando regiment. but - if you can contact them, and can afford them - you can hire 'The Wild Ducks' a band of soldiers available for those jobs that can't be done by the book. Performing missions usually for Queen and country Captain Charles Mallard otherwise known as 'Drakey'  leads his men on top secret missions. Whether it is to remove from power a tinpot dictator, capturing dope smugglers in South America or Arms dealers supplying weapons to warlords in Africa no job is to small  or to dirty for his highly trained soldiers.

Comes with a revolver and trenchcoat. Its a shame the paint jobs are a bit dated now. I may return to them at some point and either repaint or tart them up abit :)

Well starting a new Villainous cast for 7TV The Rising Eagle Society. Think a mix of The New Avengers episodes The Eagles Nest and Last of the Cybernauts.

The Star who I can't make my up about will either by a mad scientist type Dr Heinrich Von Oetker or a partially cybernetic assassin Truda Adler. There will be 2-3 metalnauts and then minions.

Minions wise thinking of Crooked Dice FED Sec with Balaclava heads and or a female Elite Guard made from FED Sec Mutaints with Daredevil heads bit like the ones in Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

Here is Dr Von Oetker

Finished off Golgo Satana by Statuesque minaitures will make an awesome assassin or double agent I reckon. Will compliment my mad scientist. Need to source some suitable attired minions now.

Surely it's got to be the WWII troopers? Nice work on the Statuesque mini! 8)

Yeah I'm really not sure as I wanted to do female soldiers like in Return to Castle Wolfenstein but can't find mini's that I'm happy with. I have put some Daredevil heads onto the Fedsec Mutaints but still not sure.

I've had the though to use them in with my Wild Ducks as  I want some of the new Crooked Army Soldiers and also have Dept X to paint up. So don't really want three heroic forces. It would mean repainting the blue on her and replacing it with Orange. Need to have a good think.

I did think about those but they look to American. I want a more uniform look. I've had a look at what purchases I plan on getting and what I have in the lead pile and basically I'm going to end up with one to many soldier casts.

So my Wild Ducks are going to be downgraded to minions and will be the extras for this cast I've repainted the blue areas today orange to match them. I plan on getting some Dobermans to replace the Shepherds. I just need a suitable star to lead them

Wow been a while since I worked on anything new for 7TV. With the Wargames Illustrated 7TV day coming up have decided to get a new cast together.

First up the bulk of the extra's did them all in a big batch to keep them consistent. 9 Bobbies and a Sergeant. Though the pointing one is likely to be subbed as a dog handler.

Cheers its just a matt black basecoat. Drybrushed with a medium grey (sort of Codex grey mixed myself). Then washed with Army Painter Dark tone over the top.

Keep trying!  The image hasn't displayed, I'm afraid.

I can see them so must be a firewall issue or summink.

Have you not tried simply adding the post direct to the LAF server?
Just click on the 'Additional Options' to the bottom left when you are posting, select a file and add it.
Simples, especially if you are only adding a picture or two at the end of your text.
