Round 4 has some of the most interesting (and weird) stuff around yet - and one more tough vote! 8) 8) 8)

The Elvis's are great, but the gun-toting showgirls just put the cap on this entry.
-
Yes , the converted Copplestone Bodyguards are great!
-
Love thoses Showgirls. Hammers you are a genius :)
-
Glad people like them. They were actually added as a necessary measure to reach that confouned count of five. There were no more Bubbas to be found anywhere so I had to come up with somthing that would complete the picture. But *one* showgirl doesn't make anyone convinced so when I was reminded of the Copplestones bikini babes in the FFFF story about the Pink Baron I ordered a full chorus line.
They are the famous Valkyrie Ballet of the classical Scandinavian themed Las Vegas extravaganza 'The Asgard Hotel and Casino', also famous for their door attendants in horned helmets and of course that celebrated albino walrus couple Ole and Lena.
West Wind should start a range called Las Vegas Wars. Just think about it: Ziegfried & Roy with attack tigers, Roman Centurions with machine guns, Circe de Solei Killer Clowns and a vampire Celine Dion...

Great , I love the Elvis Impersonators , I must get the other versions as I only have the Hasslefree one.
-
Tough one - but the Bubba's are so wonderfully weird with those showgirls
You must do a 'how-to-do' those conversions, H!
-

Me too. But I don't know who are the manufacturers of the two Elvis to the left. I know of the Hasslefree and RAFM, but the others?
-
Also RAFM - they do 3
-
The pirates are very well done but I'm gonna hafta go fot the gun-totin Elvis(es?). Love the Showgirls as well...some clever conversion and a silly theme will get my vote every time! The 'Welcome' sign is a nice touch.
-
hammershield !!!!!
That is a dream best entry ever !!!!
Rock N Roll will never die !
-
I thought you'd like it. :-)
-
There was some talk about getting Zoogla'd, where you do your damndest but end up paired with Zoolga's jewel-toned marvels. But I think this time the effect is called getting Hammershielded - you compose your scene with care and verve, and get paired up against Peder's latest and zaniest band.
-
Very kind of you to say.
But I have to admit the set up turned out quite nice. The sign sort of ties the whole thing together; it wasn't even a big effort to get it to look like that since it is basically just a photograph.
-
sorry hammershield but I have to copy these stuff
-
Brilliant theme, absolutely fantastic modelling and painting and very nice presentation, so the short version: this is the shit, man!
 :o :D
-
Who was it who released some Elvis elves? I can picture them, but can't recall the company.
-
Answering my own question, it's Alionas:

I think there's yet another company as well.
-
That is freaking brilliant!!!! :o
How in the world do you come up with these fantastic ideas???
Paint more!!!!
-
Answering my own question, it's Alionas:
Jesus H. Christ on a crutch... It's a German company, right? Well, Elvis must have left his legacy behind during his stint in the military.
-
Jesus H. Christ on a crutch... It's a German company, right?
yes.
btw, all Aliona's minis are sculpted by a russian sculptor
-
sorry hammershield but I have to copy these stuff
The miniatures are there to be painted. You hardly need my permission. :-)
I altered between '3000 miles to Graceland' and a DVD with Elvis #1 hits. Elvis on Hawaii was a absolute favorite. His late scene costumes are quite Warhammerish.
-
..and a vampire Celine Dion...
I knew there was a reason I could feel the life being sucked out of me when she's on the radio!
Anyway...
Fantastic entry Hammershield. Especially the work you did on the show girls. VERY VERY creative!

Igor Karpov... if THAT name does not make you flinch, I dunno...
Why haven't I heard of this company before? Some of their stuff is really interesting...
-
Wow Hammershield, the Elvi and showgirls are very nice. I would love to see the whole group used in a game report sometime.

Fantastic! Reminds me of a friend who did a 40K space marine chapter "The Sons of Elvis". All the bare-headed models had green stuff pompadours and the army banner was a giant black velvet Elvis painting.
Even he never thought of adding showgirls for sisters of battle though!
-
So far, the best thematic entry I have seen in this season so far! I tip my hat to you sir! The conversions are fantastic!
-
Very nicely done Hammershield
The chorus line conversions are inspired. 8)
All I can say is "Thank you very much....."
-
Nice work guys. Real tough this one I must admit, however, Peder has stolen the limelight here 8)
Peder do you actually have an adventure with these figures?
-
No, these I got because I have a hate/love relationship with Las Vegas and everything about it. So when Hasslefree did their Bubba I thought of the RAFM Elvii and since they only add up to four I had to add one more and that ended up in the Valkyrie Ballet of The Asgard Hotel and Casino.
I first thought this would be my first venture into Zombie Wars but it will probably be a while before I get to game anything. These moved up my to-paint list during last week just because of the LPL.
