At long last, the peasant levy/servant archers, called Be Archers.
Hoping to have the Emishi production castings soon, and these will be going straight to the casters once received. That will complete the Kofun/Nara (3rd-7th C. AD Japanese) range.

A very interesting range indeed. Do you have plans to release them in 28's?
cheers

Would love to see what you have in mind for the Emishi! I'm not aware of any historical records of what they wore.
I'm likewise very interested in whether you have any plans for 28s

Here are the Emishi -- there are no illustrations of them from this period but there are descriptions. These were based on a reconstruction created by Duncan Head.
Dressed in animal skins, big beards, and hair knots in which arrows were stuck!

Alright! It's somewhat anachronistic, but I don't suppose that you might produce an Empress Jingu figure, as in the Osprey illustration?

No but we've had Himiko made for the upcoming Yayoi range!

And in 28's?

Great stuff! I may well have been thinking of Himiko - whichever one it is who is in the illustration - the book wasn't nearby.
