This is the complete building process for mi entry in the Trash Bash 2013 contest:
First step: find a computer mouse, this was the one I choice:

Whit the mouse in my hands, I start to thought what can I do whit that. Finally I decide to create something in WWW II style, and 1/35 scale.
(http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a369/SirAlban/2-3.jpg) (http://s15.photobucket.com/user/SirAlban/media/2-3.jpg.html)
The first thing I done was remove the upper cassing of the mouse. It looks too much like a ...well...like a computer mouse, and mi idea was hide this shape as much as I can. I add in the nose a car air freshener casing to create the turret, and I start to add the track wheels and some details.

another view:

Whit another car air freshener casing I create the engine cover:
(http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a369/SirAlban/5-1.jpg) (http://s15.photobucket.com/user/SirAlban/media/5-1.jpg.html)
And a completely scratchbuilding HMG, to insert in the turret:

I add some "Weird War" details in the figures:
(http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a369/SirAlban/7-1.jpg) (http://s15.photobucket.com/user/SirAlban/media/7-1.jpg.html)
And the Half Track start to look like this:
(http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a369/SirAlban/8-1.jpg) (http://s15.photobucket.com/user/SirAlban/media/8-1.jpg.html)
But still needing mudguards (paper fasteners)
(http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a369/SirAlban/10-1.jpg) (http://s15.photobucket.com/user/SirAlban/media/10-1.jpg.html)
Adding some putty, and wheels from a toy:
(http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a369/SirAlban/11-1.jpg) (http://s15.photobucket.com/user/SirAlban/media/11-1.jpg.html)
Black priming:
(http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a369/SirAlban/12.jpg) (http://s15.photobucket.com/user/SirAlban/media/12.jpg.html)
And paint:

and thats all, I hope you like it ;)

My first thought exactly.
Great work Diego. Thanks for making Trash Bash something special.
-
Amazing work Diego!! :o I (stupidly) thought it was kit bashed from a lot of different 1:35 models when I first seen it, it was that good! It's amazing what you can do with a couple of airfreshners!! :o :o
-
Amazing work! Very happy to see how everything was assembled. Enlightining!
-
Oh I do like that, at first on seeing your were using an old mouse I did think it would end up looking like an old mouse on wheels. Delighted to have my thoughts dashed.
-
Mind-meltingly brilliant!! :D :D :D
-
Thx a lot for all your coments. The Nitto kits are absolutly amazing, and when you say that my little pile of junk looks like one of those, I fell really happy.
About the fresheners I must say that's one of my favourite scratchguilding material. Lot of interesting shapes in that casings. :)
