Well as the post says any ideas? Monks posed were I can add light sabres would be great too.
Cheers
The Commander.

There are the obvious Hasslefree ones for Force users, along with most Samurai types with or without alien headswaps.
As for Clone Troopers: maybe some of the stuff from the Infinity range...?
Old Paranoia Guards from Citadel...?
Eldar Aspect Warriors...the suits may work....not sure..?
-
Yeah all those already logged. Did a resculpt of a eldar dire avenger a while back. Have plenty of gzg troopers for old and current Republic clones and there's some very usable eureka troopers too. Agis used sedition wars troopers as proxy clones, dreamscape sci fi germans perfect as Clones. Really more interested in good 25mm proxy jedi.
Cheers Mason.

I used the Eureka Ronin miniatures, (both male and female) as Jedi type characters, and now that I think about it you could probably use the Eureka cultists to, just a quick hand swap to add a lightsaber
-
Forgive photography, just took afew quick ones on my phone
Eureka Ronin, as Jedi

And Eureka Cultist with a hand swap I just threw together then

I have converted the "Knights of Gaia" figures from the Space Vixens of Mars Line. You need to clip off the blasters and replace them with a piece of plastic rod or wire and paint it appropriately.
Here is one of the figures:

There are other Gaia Knights scattered throughout the site.
I specifically bought these figrues to convert them to Jedi

wish SVoM had a few more Golandan poses

This one should be easy to convert:

As for clone troopers Denizen has some old (OLD OLD OLD...etc.) 25mm Ventaurans some of whome, in full armor have that Stormtrooper look. Sort of.
http://www.denizenminiatures.co.uk/files/25mm04.htm
You can also look for a collectable figure seller who is still selling Starwars Miniatures singles for real clone troopers though they will be closer to 32mm than 25.

Just to say that Hasslefree are stocking acrylic sabre blades in great neon colours so just snip the swords off and drill and fix. They look really nice so might get a selection.

A bit expensive but very "force users" to me...

Hard to argue against Agis on this one dear boy.....
As you well know, I'm now doing 4-6, so you doing 1-3 ( or is that 3.1 - 3.6 ?) all in the same scale does make sense, and i have that republic gunship model, its really nice for the money and does look good....

What's the height of the humans in the SVfM range?
I fancy getting hold of some for my Laserburn games but I use mainly 25mm size figures (Citadel Spacefarers, Denizen sci-fi, Asgard sci-fi etc.)
Cheers,
Paul

I intend my Dreamforge Eisenkern to fill that role in my games of Blasters and Bulkheads.
Great picture of some of them found here. (http://www.brueckenkopf-online.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/DF_Eisenkern-Rifle-Squad.jpg)
The War Store sells them online, and I know you can get them direct as well (from Wargames Factory who manufacture them).

Was part of the kickstarter mate so have a few. Plus currently commissioning a range of clone heads in both 25mm & 28mm.
-
I used no small number of the models from the old Clan War lines with replaced heads when I did a project for a friend...

They are normal 28mm sized figures. They are not "heroic" so I think they will be a little bit larger than 25mm, but I think they should still work.

Do you have any of these as I'd be very interested to see how they scale....

I was going to say but sounds like you've already seen 'em!
The old irregular sci fi troops are sort of trooper proxies but pretty ropey when held against those DF minis.

They are still in production I believe - new owner of molds/rights to cast.

I gather that would look gigantic next to a 28mm :

Speaking about SW tanks and other vehicles, there was interesting discussion on old WotC forums with a lots of comparison pictures of the different models:
http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75862/25986533/Star_Wars_vehicles?pg=10
Transformer variant of republic tank look more or less in scale with miniatures.

Great thread....
and thats 16 pages to trawl through over lunch today... Actually more useful to a gamer than Rebelscale, as all the side by side photo's are excellent....
-
for the 25mm stuff (WEG) then 1st corp and GZG match up perfectly, and I find the micro machines fleet action vehicles are close enough as well. not sure about making 25mm clone wars figures, best I can think of is converting WEG stormtroopers.
-
that mountain of SW figs arrived today....
Will wait on that PM then bud.

Scurv, man i am telling ya. You got to make the Commander wait. Till he gets a proper does of his own medicine, and reveals those things he is telling us to "keep watching here" posts he wont learn. :-)

Grim: I'll reveal when I'm ready mate.. Also just for context plans have been delayed since the death of my father in February of this year, so please, quit with the jibing, even if it's just in jest, you are going on a bit mate.

Hello there!
i was thinking of getting some of SVFM, those of RIm Alien. I wish you could tell me if they fit on the 25 mm old Grenarier MInis, or they are closer to WOC minis. Thank you in advance!!.
