Hello,
up until a couple of weeks ago I had only been an occasional visitor to the Lead Adventure forums, but after a rather fortuitous google image search looking for metal Ungors, I signed up, and after contacting Grant I am now the proud owner of some Canadian Beastmen.
Nice.
I am currently painting my way through a now tripled-in-size army of Beasties. I also paint Orks and Citadel 80's zombies. I like converting and sculpting now and again too. I have stubbornly stayed with Games Workshop for over 25 years but recently I have been looking at other manufacturers. I picked up a bunch of Heresy Ghouls and zombies the other week - lovely, and I have been toying with the idea of getting my hands on some Breugelburg majesticness for over a year. Time I got some I think.
I got into the hobby through playing pen and paper RPGs as a teen and only started playing wargames a couple of years ago. I'm more a painter than a gamer but I hope to get some use out of my Beastmen when they're finished.
I'm usually out hiking at the weekends but a few weeks ago I started training at a local mini painting company. Brush skills are improving, flab is increasing :-)
