Yesterday evening, i had my first star fleet-battle. my klingons vs. the federation. it was a very fine game. i like the rules and the gamefeeling.

the battle ends with a tactical retreat from the federationships.

Mongoose Calls to arms seems to be a really good game.
How many ships do you need on each side to make the game interesting ?
Does the rulebook contains campaign rules ? Solo rules ?

edit : it seems to have some campaign rules. Interesting but if solo rules (or french rules) doesn't exist, I will not be able to play it (nobody is speaking english in my aera).

On the beginning you only need four or five ships but if you have played some games you should try to have a fleet with 1000 points or more. Yes there are campaigns in the rulebook and the starfleet one and two. But i am afraid the rules are only in english. I didn't find the rules in other languages.
