Hey guys we had a 3000 point No Limits battle for our Station 42 War a couple weeks ago. We fielded over 100 models with over a dozen vehicles. You can find the battle report here on my blog: http://ironworkersminiatures.blogspot.com/2013/06/the-battle-for-skynyrd-station-station.html (http://ironworkersminiatures.blogspot.com/2013/06/the-battle-for-skynyrd-station-station.html) I don't think I posted the last few reports but you can scroll back to them in The Station 42 War collection: http://ironworkersminiatures.blogspot.com/search/label/The%20Station%2042%20War (http://ironworkersminiatures.blogspot.com/search/label/The%20Station%2042%20War)

Sniper tanks sniping!

If that isn't fun with toy soldiers, I don't know what is!

Bad Robot! You should know smoking is unhealthy... lol
The big trooper mover really did turn out well! So much for the doubters.
Has the dropship (or whatever the winged rocket is) been described elsewhere? Don't quite recognize.

The brown one? That's a conversion of a toy from The CORPS line which is a kind of knock off GI Joe brand.

I love all the terrain you make for this project. It's an inspiration every time I look at it. I need to build one of those wedge-shaped troop transports. They look fantastic.

love your stuff !!!! :-* :-*
you don't play 40k like a sheep...but make your "own SF game"...just great...beacause I did it too
Your blog gives me a good inspiration and I gave a try to the Nolimit ruleset with some firends...amazing one, simple and fun !!

Thanks guys! I do like my making my own settings. I don't hate 40k but I like a lot more futuristic in my sci-fi settings and less "Great War". Also the "Good Guys vs Bad Guys" thing always seems a bit immature in a sci-fi setting. I am ultimately planning on putting together some Imperial Guard tanks and transports to play the Hell Knights as an Imperial Guard option but I've not been in a big hurry. Seems every time I try and get back into 40K I'm looking at spending over $100 in rules alone because they are always on a new edition.

That's the one; I've seen the line, but don't recall the flier. I will be keeping eye peeled now!
I rather like Gothic sci-fi, as long as that means 'dying worlds'-style failing tech and societies. Gothic facades on buildings and vehicles alone is, at best, a pale vision.

Something about this battle report makes me want to yell "Freebird Man!" with a lit Bic.
Love your battle reports. Very nice job fabricating an entire storyline from scratchbuilds. Phenomenal creativity.

Love your scratchbuilt buildings (and vehicles too!), and the weathering you've done on them is great.

Great looking game and table. I love your terrain & vehicles. :-*

Really like seeing your AARs when they pop up. They always make me want to start getting stuff out of boxes and start setting up a table.
Keep 'em coming that man.
P.D. Your a very lucky man to have a wife that'll share your toy soldier fixation. I envy you :)

This is just great! Extremely inspiring, and great to see so much cool stuff on the table at once!
