Title: Full Thrust Shipyard 1.0
Post by: Leitwolf on August 05, 2013, 07:58:57 PM
Hello everybody!

We are relaunching our communitypage and we are starting with a brand new, free of charge tool for all Full Thrust-Fans!

The Mechworld.de Full Thrust Shipyard 1.0 allows you to construct every ship you want according to the official rules.
For this, there are not only the system of the light rules of Ground Zero Games on hand but the full range of all Full Thrust handbooks.
All you have to do is register at http://www.mechworld.de (http://www.mechworld.de).
Via Drag & Drop you are then able to build your personal spaceship very comfortable and easy in the Shipyard-area.

Have fun,
Your MECHWORLD Development Group

Most excellent! I am looking forward to shaking the dust off of my fleet of ships for some Full Thrust action! Thanks for putting in the time and making this available.

Great iniative!
Full Thrust is without any competition, the best space game there is. It's just a pity that it didn't come out during the age of internet (well it did, but I'm thinking of somewhere around 2005 and onwards) :(

After your baptism of fire on the Full Thrust list, ready to go public?  lol

Haven't signed up to play with it, but does look the bomb. Everyone should note your download of the 'lite' version of the rules with beautiful art as well. Sorry you have to put your site content both in German and English. Some of us never kept up the old ways.  :'(

In case any fans are unaware, though, Jon has made all the original books available for free download from the Ground Zero web site, too.

Which apparently currently has issues; you go straight to the store. Oh, but he's got a 'rules' link there, at the bottom of Shop By Catagory.

http://shop.groundzerogames.net/

And, no, I won't be asking him about FTIII; too many people still waiting for Bugs Don't Surf...  lol

Don't have to convince me, but I'm a full time fan boy.  :D

WOW! Thank you for the positive feedback!  :o :) ;)

@Neldoreth: WHAT A EXCELLENT FLEET!!!
@James: No, itīs not in flash.
@Silversixx: We think that too. We love Jons ideas!
@Doug: Thank you... lite and light confused me a bit... I call it light :-) But we are working on a full completely. We hope, we have finished it for the Salute 2014. We will see.  :)

Cheers,
Stephan

Good news about 'not flash'  :)

I'm assuming it's pad compatible?

cheers

It is automatically when it's HTML5 ;)
But, I can't answer whether it's adapted to pads or phone.

We are using drag & drop for the icon layout.
So it  will not work at touchscreens at the moment, i think.
But i am only the artwork-slave ;)

lol I was the fellow that didn't have a problem with using 'lite' in this case. As tech-specific jargon, seemed right. I know so many folks have only bad images from things like 'lite beer'.  ;)

I do have one weird request; could you pad your new one's PDF with a blank page(or This Page Intentionally Blank) as second page, and one just inside the back cover? For those of us who print 'booklet'-style, divisible-by-four page count is a goal. If you fill two pages with more info instead, all the better!

@DOUG: UH AH LITE BEER!!!   :o  :D

Well... yes, I understand the page-problem. I will fix this soon. And I must change design of the german rules. They are still the cloudy design. This will not work anymore. ;-)

But I think at the moment, there will no new content in the light/lite version. We will take our print-work-time for the full rules. ;) And the next weeks will first generate more content at our community page. There are a few items, that we must do for the shipyards, and we will build a showcase for all the ships.

@all: If you have any ideas for the community base, let us know. Feel free to write it at our Forum. Thanks!!! We are so happy, that you use our stuff!

Whoa, you're the first publisher that didn't think I was crazy for asking for even one blank page that I could 'insert' as I chose. (Pages=1,19,2-18,19)

As long as the images and text are clear (kudos), the booklet print is portable and convenient, and considerate to my employer's paper supply.  ;)

As I drink, at best, maybe six beers a year, less of a consideration on my part. Will say I tend towards the stout end of thing...

Thanks again; we'll use the heck out of your stuff, in spite of what's missing in the demo fleets. *cough cough* ESU *cough cough*

100 Registrations! The Mechworld Team is so blown away by your interest in our Full Thrust Shipyard that we implemented a little Goodie.

The new registrations are coming in pretty constantly and new starship designs are being put together everywhere. For us, this is the perfect reward for all the hard work we put into the relaunch of our site and the Shipyard. But we wont let this motivational push get away without giving some of it back to you.

From now on we have some new shapes available for your designs! Some of them may be familiar to you ;)... but have a look by yourself!

Thank you all!
