Title: Ideas for painting asphalt/city roads?
Post by: Bravo Six on May 11, 2008, 01:18:55 PM
Does anyone have any color ideas for painting streets/roads/asphalt for urban settings? I've seen straight black and straight grey used, but wanted something with a little more depth perhaps. Any ideas?

you could always add stuff like pots holes, oil spots,or skid marks.

I know some people use black or grey sand paper as roads for the texture. I've seen pictures some were, (can't remember sorry), and it looked quite good. 8)

There's a comment on that in this thread:

There was also someone of this forum who used midnight blue acetate sheets over black to simulate city streets slick with rain. It looked very good.
