Some great pics there, Paul :)
Good-looking figures, buidings and terrain
It's good to see Indian troops in action - it's almost always British in most pics.
Thanks for posting,
Ian

Will it be played with T&T?

Vary nice Pics

Smashing. Very nice. Nudie Beja, too. Not seen any of those before. I've seen paintings of the battles in the Suakin theatre where many of the Beja are represented as naked, but hadn't seen any figures done that way before. What make are they?
-
They are a mix of companies but the naked Beja are from the Essex Miniatures stable.
The Brits in the range are not great but the Dervish are full of character.
-
Very nice, what rules are you using?
-
very nice what company makes those arabs?
-
The natives are mainly Essex Miniatures with a few Foundry.
Rules are 'The Sword and the Flame'.
-
Nice. 8)

Very nice Sir - love the movement in the lancer charge!

Bengal Lancers and Afgan Cav are now on my next order form.
-
Very very nice!!!
And I love the lighting... it looks like the sun is just about to set! :)
-
very nice pics, nuce figures.

Great looking game, makes me want to dig out all those unpainted Sudan figures.
-
Love the buildings and the details on the bases. Where did you get them from?
BTW the figures look fantastic as well.
-
Hi,
The buildings are scratch built by me.
-
Hi,
Found and saw your pictures of Sudan skirmish.
Can you tell something more about figures you used? Wich firm(s)?
And maybe about the game-scenario?
Thank you,

I enjoyed seeing someone else's Sudan game, thanks for that. Very nice work. I see from WI that the Perrys have got six packs of Indian/Sikh infantry out this month with the promise of Bengal Lancers to come. Oh dear, back to the heat and the flies I fear.... ;)

Wow! Six packs of Sikhs! That's a big improvement on the amount Mr Copplestone has in his range.
On the one hand thanks for telling us about these :D
On the other hand, I now have to find lots more money to buy some >:(
lol

The pictures were taken a very long time ago. Actually staged to try out my first digi camera so that gives you an idea how long ago because I am onto number three.
Therefore there was no actual scenario.
Figures are;
Dervish mainly Essex.
Brits mainly Foundry.
Mounted Brit officers Perry.
My collection is a lot bigger now due to the Perry's and based on the latest releases will get a lot bigger ;) :D
Here are a couple more piccies from an actual game.

Wow...awesome. The water looks fantastic.
Very true.
Superb looking game.
-
The water is a Terrain mat abd the little boat is a rowing boat with scratchbuilt engine.
-
Amazing...
Well done my friend!!

Gorgeous-I love the Sikhs, are they foundry darkest africa ones? I am currently putting together forces for the NWF so this is nice to inspire me!
-
Absolutely beautiful.
-
Thanks for the pictures of the shore line - it is just the inspiration I need.

Threadomancy! :o

Two great looking games and tables there.
-
Great looking figures and terrain. I particularly like the water effect, and I've never seen such an effective rendition of tartan on kilts before. Superb all round! :-*
-
Great looking set up :-* :-*
