I purchased a nice unit of fantasy-esque British Palace Guard with the tall bearskins, but carrying SMLE rifle, bayonet, ammo pouches, and combat harness. Ready to paint 'em now, but I CanNOT remember who molded them. I just spent the last 20 minutes searching here and on Theminiaturespage, and have failed to discover them. Nothing molded into their bases.
Please assist, and if you can link me to photos of well-painted examples, I'll award extra points !
Thanks, and sorry for the poor search-fu.

To a British person: do all these regimental marching bands still exist?! As far as I know we only have one military music corps in Sweden (except the Home Guard which seem to be able to be muster a set of sousaphones and butcher the March of Engelbrecht in every little parish around the country).

Hammers, try this clip. It's Trooping the Colour this year, a bit of a long clip but you get the picture.

the Brits and the former Empire are nuts about marching bands (in a positive sense, and since it is imperial tradition, it can definitely count as cultural preservation)
and since I am at it, I always wonder if they manage to invite Indian and Pakistani bands to the same event

I'd love to see the joined forces of Trinidad and Tobago invade and conquer France (should be an easy thing for them) just to see them do that victory steel drum march-cum-dance down the Champs Elysée. lol
