Thanks for the review, is the patrol phase really that powerful, or is it like deployment in any game (where bad deployment won't lose you the game, but it'll be hard to win)?

I would say the patrol phase done badly might punish you more than in other games, but once you understand what's going on then the usual principles apply - what's my objective, what terrain do I need to control or deny the enemy - that sort of stuff. It's a cracking idea from the Lardies and one I personally find a lot easier to get my head around than their usual blinds mechanic.
