Title: IHMN - Quick weapons team question
Post by: Diakon on September 05, 2013, 11:13:38 AM
Are miniatures in a weapons team supposed to remain in base to base with each other? Wasn't sure in a game last night so we diced for it. 1-5 base to base, 6+ within 2" of each other. We rolled up within 2" of each other but was wandering what the general consensus was. Or, I suppose, are they supposed to be based together on one base? I just don't know.  lol

edit: Oh, and are they meant to be activated (movement phase) together or separately, as normal?

In our group we move them separately but they have to be in base to base contact in the shooting phase to get the move and shoot capability that comes with being a team. The downside of that is that they are considered a group when being shot at by other machine guns.

If I have a team that is not going to move for a few turns I separate them a little bit so they don't present such a tempting target.

Hope that helps

i have always moved them separate but i me and my group agree they need to be in base to base contact to be able to fire continually each turn

The rules say that a single figure using a four handed weapon can either move or shoot in a turn. So, it can shoot each turn if it doesn't move.
