Title: Norwegian gaming scene?
Post by: Hammers on September 10, 2013, 04:40:48 PM
Do we have any members from Norway? I will be shuttling back and forth between Visby and Oslo this fall and if there is any gaming going on in the region around the capital I'd be interested to know since I will have spare time in the evenings.

Vintagefreak is from somewhere near Trondheim, little far away from Oslo.
There was at least one member located in Oslo, but can't remember his nick right now :?

Will let you know as soon as I can :D

Edit: Rembered :D
HPFlashman it was, he's in/near Oslo.

TBH I've not heard of much from Norway. I know there are role players, so I'm guessing there must be wargamers too.

I am sure there is.  The is a quite big independent wargaming cum SF/fantasy cum comic store in Oslo called Outland. A large RP section and the usual GW shelves, FOW but also plastics like warlor, mantic perry etc. No vallejo pots, strangely enough, but several other brands.

There were a few gamers around Haugesund a few years back, but again not that close to Oslo.
