Well? Would ya?
It's a hell yeah from me in both 15mm and 28mm.
Hopefully just retired rather than IP issues. Lets drum up some interest.
:D

I would commit to a couple in 15mm, and maybe one in 28mm depending on the price.
-
I think he has something similar planned...

IP issues? What's the film reference?

not film - game.

not film - game.
OK, that might be why I didnt catch it then.
-
28 mm - no, but you probably pretty much knew that from my earlier posts.
15 mm - tempting but I can't commit because I don't have any 15 mm armies that would use it...
Gracias,
Glenn

not film - game.
Which is why they appeal to my projects... ;)

I got two (that's one pictured) and I'd buy at least 5 more if I could! :)

For 28mm scale what of the official diecast release? I have pics but was never able to do a scale comparison 1st hand.

I think he is reworking it and adding optional ducted lift fans to the sides. But to answer your question, yes I would.

20mm if that. Pretty small for 28mm too big for 15mm. The diecast model wasn't the same as the little bird it was a larger flyer.
I've not named names, pm me if you need further info.

That's another flyer, (I've posted that pic in the other thread).
Cheers

Not for me at the scale I would use (28 mm); the detail looks way too soft. Khurasan do some great stuff but I think given the quality in the future vehicles market I would not pick this up over something from say Atenociti's.
-
I'd love to get some.
I dunno how it would conflict with IP issues, it has enough different features to the air vehicles of said Game to not be considered the same.
In truth the Halo air vehicles have more in common with the Avatar film air vehicles.
The one in the game is far more angular and much bigger, it doesn't have the Littlebird style of passenger seating on the side, and it has two weapon stations that swing out of the side, missile pods etc.
-
Having just found the said vehicle via google, I'd say there is very little risk of IP infringement.
-
This one has 40mm troops with it:

As for the Khurasan flier, at 15mm it is OK as it is but for 28mm it would need a lot of work to sharpen it up, I think.
Either way, it wouldn't be something I'd buy so my opinion is probably worthless :)

The missile pod on the top always bugged me TBH. It just sticks out to far and breaks of the whole silhouette for me.
Maybe a new version of it might catchy my fancy tough. lol

Not that one Inso...

Not that one Inso...
It isn't a tip towards a Hornet? I thought it was a redesign to avoid all the similarities...
What's the HALO craft that was used as inspiration then?
-
As far as I can see yup it's the hornet. The falcon is bigger, the huey of the genre. I think the 40mm diecast from the top down looks like the falcon....but the two are completely different correct.

Ah, sorry - you're right!

Ah, sorry - you're right!
It's Halo related so of course I am. lol ;)

I would definitely pick up a couple of those if Khurasan re-released them!!! ;)
