Just wanted to show off my weekend project. I picked up this figure for $0.25 at the local game shop swaped his head, removed his chest symbol, and painted him up all in about 4 hours time.

He may not be the most beautiful figure but he'll make a nice tabletop figure. I've got a little more about him in my blog.

Kinda looks like the Rocketeer without his helmet and jet pack. Looks like the Crab Johnson from the Hellboy Heroclix set.
Good stuff,
Brian

That is the Lobster Johnson fig. I also thought he looked a bit like the Rocketeer.

Cool looking mini. I guess I'm too fixed on metal.
Then again if there were even more minis available, I'd have to starve...

Really good work. His face is great and his eyes look full of menace.Nice one! >:(

Great job! He's got a real "OK no more Mr nice guy" look to him.
-
Excellent conversion. There's a lot of stuff in the different collectable minis ranges that useful. :D 8)

Help - those eyes are following me around the room.... o_o

Nice Figure, lot's of character!
-
Nice job, very effective as a pulp hero. I agree about the rocketeer look :)
-
I love that fig. I've used the same mini as a basis for a few conversions. Nicely done.

Hey. I've got a couple of these figs. I'm gonna dig 'em out forthwith. Thanks for the idea which I will shamelessly steal.
-
you did much better than I on that conversion. Here's the fella I did.

I don't know. I think the head you chose is quite a bit more pulpy than mine. What head is that? I think I'd like to use it for my other body if I can find it. Nice job!

That looks cool to. 8)

It's the Dr. Strange head. Now that I've peeked at how you did your fella I'll be going through my un-used GW stuff for more heads. I'm planning on using my small army of Lobster Johnsons as Air Pirates. :D

Here's a couple of Great figures for Gangsters

The Scourge of the Underworld. Subject of one conversion of mine, more on the way.

A classic looking Joker. I've yet to get my hands on this model....

The Question. I'sn't this a Dick Tracy Villian as well?

Black Canary I think. A little tough to come by. I'm waiting till I get another till I repaint one as a Mol.

This is actually one of the Cukoos from various X-Men comics.
