Me and Dad are thrilled that our game will be easy and cheaper to get in the UK. Maybe I will have to fly to England and run some Pulp Alley demo games? What do you think?  :-*

Plus I've had my eye on some of the Statuesque minis for awhile. I think Andrew's Resistance ladies would be a really cool league for a Pulp Alley Post Apocalypse setting.

I took 3 bags of orders to the Post Office today. An ever increasing queue of pensioners muttered away behind me and I raised the future share price of Royal Mail PLC single-handed, and now copies of Pulp Alley will be winging their way to customers in the UK, Ireland, France, Belgium, Netherlands, Italy and Hungary.

The master plan is underway!  :D

Unfortunately it's looking like it may take about a month to get Andrew restocked.

We were hoping to get the second shipment sent sooner, but it's not looking like that's going to happen now.

I'll keep you updated if anything changes or once we get a date confirmed.

THANKS for your suport!

A big box has arrived from across the Atlantic and all the Pulp Alley products have now been restocked. I know a few people have been waiting on the Fortune Deck so now is your chance. I don't imagine we'll sell out quite as quickly as before but best be sure and make an order now!  :D

Yes, indeed. We've discussed this before and it is currently somewhere on our ever growing list of Good-Ideas.

Unfortunately, Mila has forbidden the purchase of a video camera after what I did to our last toaster. In my defense, it is important to point out that my actions were fully justified and since then I have not attacked any other toasters.

THANKS

We still need a new toaster. You're not allowed to pull apart any more working electronics for terrain.

Thus conclusively proving Toaster Valhalla  =  Pulp Alley Terrain

Mila has forbidden the purchase of a video camera after what I did to our last toaster. In my defense, it is important to point out that my actions were fully justified and since then I have not attacked any other toasters.

That would seem to derive from lack of targets eh wot?

Have you yet to reach that pinnacle where Toasters Fear You?

Or do they still imagine, given numbers enough, victory looms?

Bent on revenge as they must be are you their only hapless victim?

Dd you even THINK of your family before dragging them into danger?

Have you proved, to The Authorities mind you, that the ominous power of  The Hooded Toaster Cult presents a terrifying public safety concern?

You are I trust aware that toasters are simply scouts probing ahead of hot plates, griddles, Foreman grills, EZ Bake ovens & Waffle Irons.

Dave, Old Boy, methinks you're cooked...

Is it More or LESS proper to address you as:

Does this make the ever popular, and Traditional, contraction "M'Lord" somewhat confusing?  In YOUR case I mean...

Valerik,
An equal (which I am sure you are!) would address me as Lord Snapcase, a servant would address me as My Lord. The name Snapcase would be the name of the Earldom so the proper title would be the Earl of Snapcase. Close friends would call me by my first name. The 'Mad Lord' is how I am referred to by the inhabitants of Much-Piddling who have the  opportunity to observe my rather eccentric habits and idiosyncracies!
Strangely, there is an AAR due to be posted here very soon, relating to my arrival at Snapcase Hall, the ancestral pile and family seat at Much-Piddling as the 10th Earl, after the unfortunate death of the 9th Earl. See the Devon Times cutting below!

(BTW, I do like your recruits to the Hooded Toaster Cult, I'm wondering whether the officers of this cult might have titles like the Grand-Marmalade and the Butter-Master?)

Title: Have we thoroughly

hijacked this thread?

Or is there more needs doing?

Lord Snapcase, you do me too much honour, Sir!!

Most Americans think of themselves as without equal, brash young nation as we are.

As for myself, I am quite Pierless, but workin' on buildin' some, or othewise acquiring the quay to my wharfish demesne...

I read with interest your snippet of The Devonian Times.
Pray tell where in Devon falls Much Piddling?

Alas it's been near 50 years since my visits to Dean Prior and Widicombe, memories grow dim, but I recall both places with fondness.  Alas the lure of the West Country seduced me, followed by a return to that country in the West...

As far as names go, I'm presently inclined towards Apple Butter Anarchists and Marmalade Minions, no moniker officially assigned.

Give the Snapcase roots, and may I offer my heartfelt best wishes, I know it must be painful for your ancestral family seat to have piles,  I would rather expect a Clotted Cream Cult be lurking in the offing somewhere?

I beg to be allowed to remain, Sir, your trusted comrade,

Valerik

Valerik, old bean (if I may address you as such?),
I have loosely based Much-Piddling on where I live, i.e. pretty much right in the centre of Devon, a very rural area. Eggesford House, across the valley from us, was owned by the Earls of Portsmouth. The 3rd Earl of Portsmouth who lived there in the 18th century was a lunatic from birth!
There is one interesting legacy from the Earls of Portsmouth. When the railway line (called the Tarka Line now) was built during the 1850s, the railway company had to gain permission from the incumbent Earl to build Eggesford Station on his land. The Earl gave permission dependant on the fact that every train would stop at Eggesford for the convenience of his weekend guests arriving for a bit of huntin', shootin and fishin', don't y'know? Even though the house is privately owned now, every train still stops at Eggesford Station.

Hi folks,

Just a quick note to say that a restock for the Pulp Alley Rulebook and the Fortune Cards has been dispatched from Pulp Alley in the US. I've added the stock to the shop but be aware any order containing the Rulebook or the Cards will not be posted until the restock arrives, hopefully within 2 weeks. :)
