The more releases I see, the more tempted I am to start gaming in 25/28mm.....

The pilot with the spanner looks like Jake Cutter from Tales of the Golden Monkey.

Man, I loved this show. Anybody else remember it?

Cheers,

Bob Murch runs a Pulp game at the only convention anywhere near me (HotLead), and every year something happens that prevents me from going. He also brings his entire line of minis w/ him for sale!

Maybe my wallet is scheming to prevent me from going, only in the interest of its own safety!

BTW, the optimum order from Pulp is 11 packs at once. That way you get 2 free and free shipping. A bargain for $121.50!

I need to win the lottery....

See, I thought that looked like Corky, Jake's mechanic.

And yeah, that show came out right after Raiders of the Lost Ark and I was bascially hooked from that point on. I've been wiaitng for them to release an official set of the series on DVD. I've got some of the bootleg copies, which are not very good.

It was because of that show, that for 5 years I asked my parents to get me a Flying Tigers jacket every year for Christmas.

those are very nice.  I am a bit doomed when it comes to the upcoming HIstoricon convention.  My booth is located right next to pulp figures.

thankfully these wont be available yet or I would spend too much

Finally someone else who remembers the show.

I use to hound my parents for a model Goose. I found one on eBay a couple of months ago and decided to bite the bullet and buy it. I also managed to find someone who sells decals for Cutter's Goose as well and fortunately these are designed to fit the model I bought

I wish they would release it on DVD. I hope to own a copy of the series in about 12 hours.....

Cheers,

Barry

I named my first dog Cutter after Jake Cutter. I enjoyed the show a lot growing up and thought it should have lasted longer than it did. It's one of the seminal moments on my path toward the .45 Adventure game that I wrote.

"PWM-4 Evil Hooded Minions 1. 2 packs of these nasty thugs will be part of the Historicon Release in July. Web-site release in August."

"PHP-11 Buzz Barker's Island Hoppers. This pack will be pre-released at Historicon. Full release will take place in August."

I think the Puggsy Flannigan set Bob is releasing is one of the nicest sets he's done. I just can't think of how I would use them that often in a game.

seconded, a great set, would be a nice diorama. Useless for wargaming. Even though I will buy it

I'm not so sure, they won't fit in a game. I see before me a gangster scenario set in and arond a gym or at a fight (lots of innocent bystanders to mow down with your tommies :-) ). The fighters may be caught up in the fray and dealing out some heavy punches...

I MAY include a mini-boxing game in our next release. Since it will involve campaigns and we'll be detailing our fictional New Commerce City. One of the Points of Interest will be the Phoenix Colloseum.

A simple boxing game could be fun to include.
