Hi all,
I am going to be attempting a few scratch build of three different towns/cities over the next few weeks/months and I am hoping someone might know where I can find some instructions to build a 28mm London District? I don't want to buy any buildings since my gaming budget is small and I prefer to spend it on miniatures. The other three are a western cow town (Still hunting for instructions), a Middle eastern town and a Asian Village/temple area, which I got instructions for.
Cheers,
Daniel

if someone have a copy of the Gary Chalk "how to build Old West buildings" , published in Wargames illustrated 10 years ago , you will have anything you need for your old west town .
but you can give a look to http://www.mts.net/~gisby/owbuild.htm (http://www.mts.net/~gisby/owbuild.htm)
for london district, it will be quite uneasy, due to the great ammount of brickworks .

but the base is foamboard, and a lot of work .

Years ago I had to start a similar project that turned out very much to my satisfaction. I documented a 18 page WIP report on the Guild: http://www.guildwargamers.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=104&t=5608&hilit=saloon

A good place to start is our very own Thuderchicken's London builds.
He does a step by step guide here:
