Hi,
I want to show you a diorama, which I finished one year ago.
First I wanted to build something inspired by "Resident Evil" - some kind of Raccoon Police Department car, but then knight models released their zombie-girl and I found that 75mm Girl from Tartar miniatures.
Given this and fixed by the first season of "Walking Dead" I altered my plans and moved towards a Zombie Hunter scenario.
A heavily altered PickUp, some deserted street and building and some figures.
I needed appr. 6 months to complete this diorama, building the complete building and the extra armory, roll cages and weapons station from scratch.

Most inspiring! That is some very good diorama building, but Iīd like to see some close-ups of the main character too: The zombie hunter.
Consider this constructive criticism: The impressively done scratch build and conversion work get a bit spoiled by the look of the tyres that do not seem to be stressed by the weight of the truck parked at an angle.

Michi, you are right.
the tyres (that aren't stressed by the weight of the truck) are not the only bug...
There are a lot of other flaws due to the fact, that this was my only second build after Years of absence from Modelling...
The complete weathering job went terribly wrong and the damages on the body are very bad, too.
I still like the conversion but I don't like the car any more...
But there's light at the end of the tunnel - a Ford F350 Dually will replace this car in 2014.
Hopefully it will look better - finally I found somebody who casts weapons in 1:24!!

Thanks Thomas, I can perfectly read German...
The work and weathering on that truck is great anyway, it were only the tyres that confused me. The survivor girl is nice too. The denim is perfectly done, although I donīt like the sculpt of her hair pretty much. 1/24th scale is an unforgiving scale however, that reveals every flaw.
Interesting comment in that post and clever idea about replacing plastic carbody parts with aluminium sheet. I will try that!
