So far I have been a silent reader of the Lead Adventure forum and I really, really like it here. Nice folks who share awesome content with the community. I'd like to return the favor by sharing a project that I recently finished. This massive troll, that measures around 18cm from bottom to the top, is going to be a Christmas present for a good friend's son. I surely would like to see his face on the 24th! :)

INCREDIBLE! The sheer size of the Beasty makes it an impressive piece, but backed up by an OUTSTANDING paint job raises it to another level. I love all the details & the way you did the eyes. VERY WELL DONE!

Bloody hell!
What a way to introduce yourself!
Stunning paintwork on an equally stunning model.
Brilliant!

I surely would like to see his face on the 24th! :)
He may well have an expression just like mine when I first saw it.
:o :o :o
Welcome aboard, stoessi, really looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Outstanding and inspirational!
What was your medium; how did you make it? Polymer clay or epoxy or both (or something else perhaps...)?

I think Privateer Press was his medium.
Great paint! How long to paint that beast? I painted a few Maulers, and they took forever, and this guy could eat them for snacks...

Sometimes I forget how much I love giant monsters, then I see something as amazing as this and remember what's so great about fantasy :D

@all
Thanks!
Yes, my medium was Privateer Press. Had I tried to sculpt this myself it would have looked like a blob of clay. I like painting. I really don't like sculpting and I suck at it. ;)
The painting involved airbrushing Tamyia paints as well as regular Model Color acrylics followed by brushwork with almost everything you can think of: Acrylics, Oil washes, regular washes, pigments from pastel chalk, etc.
If you are interested in pictures of the painting process, here is a link (no explanations to what I did exactly though - only pictures):
