Been on a roll recently. Another unit completed. These are Front Rank reinforcement pack miniatures. The casting, detail and animation is superb. A cut above the older fatter Front Rank figures.
Cheers

Nice work Brian!!
Looks like layering paint and dip/wash combined. Interesting effect, I like it.
LawnRanger, cut backs, we don't get that kind of information here in Canada, what's up?

I am not sure what the style is but you are essentially correct. I use inks and washes on parts, and layered paint on straps and so forth.

Bonjour Brian,
Very nice indeed!
The new Front Rank sculpts are significantly better proportioned than those before but I don't think I'll be replacing my 52nd Battalions as the old-style one I painted myself is 48 figures strong and took an age to do and a second I purchased already painted are OK too so I've already got the maximum 2 battalions needed for the Peninsular.
Keep up the good work!
Cheers,
Paul
