Because online forum/group discussions often turn into opinionfests between advocates and critics I have posted this on other forums (such as the THW forum) and Yahoo groups and now will post it here. For my sanity sake (and limiting places where to go to read responses) please preferably use e-mail below and not PMs.)
I am looking to hold a conversation off forums/groups about Piquet which has
shown up in several threads on different forums/groups (like a zombie, arising
from apparent death,) to better understand just what this rules systems (I know
LDS families with less siblings!) is/isn't;does/doesn't do well. I have been to

interesting that the author had a strengths section in his presentation but not
a weakness section in describing the theory behind the system.
So please email me if you have had experience with these rules because while I
have no intent to replace all my THW rules (I like the reaction system) but I do
(very much) want to understand how the Piquet system actually works as opposed
to how the author views his "child" or his critics view his "Frankenstein" so I
can decide if I want to play in such games at conventions or even pursue buying
some of the components (listed below *) for exploring optional game styles
and/or research into games mechanics.
