Title: 1st figures for Crom
Post by: Black Cavalier on January 05, 2014, 07:24:05 AM
I recently finished my 1st figures for Matakishi's Crom game (http://www.wargamevault.com/product/108246/Crom (http://www.wargamevault.com/product/108246/Crom)).  The figures are GW's Lord of the Rings Uruk Hai Beserkers.
I just trimmed off the little cross piece at the end of the sword & painted them in Caucasian skin tones.    I'll be using them as kind of degenerate temple guards.

Here's the original GW paint job

This is the 1st time I tried making my own stone floor using putty that I then scored.  I tried a single color dark grey & light grey with a wash (the outer 2 bases), but I liked the middle 2-tone floor the best where I used both colors.
